IKEA: Importing Cheap Gun Control from Sweden
Last updated: 11/17/2019

Fittingly, the IKEA corporation was founded in Sweden, long-renowned for its extreme firearm-restrictions, including the near-abolition of citizen open and concealed carry.

Within the last decade, more than a million immigrants, overwhelmingly non-European, have turned Sweden into the rape capitol of the West.  These ambassadors of diversity conduct increasingly-frequent bombings and shootings, and have established terroristic "no-go zones".

"'Hello' in Swedish!" IKEA's "Weapon free zone"

Like the insane Swedish regime, IKEA promotes an environment where criminals are encouraged and law-abiding citizens are disarmed.  IKEA posts signage on its doors declaring the facility a "Weapon free environment".

Top of door ironically states:
"That's how we say 'hello' in Swedish!"

IKEA makes only one exception to their victim disarmament zone.  Statute Enforcement Agents (SEAs, aka "police") may carry at will in their facilities.

This despite growing evidence that SEAs are less reliable than citizens at preventing violent crime.  For example:

* SEAs appear more likely to commit murders than citizens who possess concealed carry government "permits".

* SEAs are far more likely than the general population to commit domestic violence.

 * Concealed carry citizens are often better trained with firearms than are SEAs. Typical SEA training is woefully inadequate.

* Armed citizens appear to be at least as successful as SEAs at stopping violent crimes.

Like Sweden, IKEA promotes the false narrative that natural rights are granted by government, and that government agents constitute the only legitimate defenders of a just society.  Utah gun owners should take notice: Gun control is how they say "hello" in Swedish.

IKEAs "Strategic" Gun Control Partners

The IKEA Foundation also actively promotes gun control.  For example, it is a "long-term, strategic partner" with,

* The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), which promotes the abolition of citizen firearms.

* The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), another long-time advocate of citizen disarmament.

Interestingly, IKEA Foundation partners include the Clinton Health Access Initiative, co-founded by former US president and gun control zealot Bill Clinton.  He and his daughter Chelsea Clinton are directors (see page 40).
