The Violent Agenda
of Utah's Political Crime Bosses
Alert for 2/3/2020:
Two street thugs,
house speaker Brad Wilson and senate
president Stuart Adams,
employ dictatorial powers to prostitute the entire legislature, turn the Capitol into a shameless
den of criminality, and import the violence of third world
hell holes to Utah.
These two
crime bosses, like their corrupt predecessors, set the
horrific agenda,
and reduce your representatives and senators into effeminate
"pushers" who "service" their elitist corporate customers.

1. Deranged Federal
Congress Provides the Sick Model
In 2015, federal congressman Louie
Gohmert made a startling public admission [bold added]:
"It's only when the members of
Congress are allowed to have authority and power that they can
adequately represent their own constituents. We haven't
had that authority under [outgoing Speaker of the House John]
Boehner. Nobody could get a committee they wanted
without his okay, or a chairmanship that they wanted without
his okay...
"If we
let our committees run themselves and let the members elect
their own committee chairman, for example, and restore power
back to the members instead of having a dictator
— I mean let's face it,
if we're
going to have a dictator of the Republican Party,
we've got to have somebody really incredibly good if they're
going to make all the decisions for all of us who represent
over 700,000 people."
[bold added]

Gohmert: 'Put Me in Crazy Category,' But I Won't Vote For Paul
Ryan," by Cathy Burke,
Newsmax, 10/23/15.
Gohmert's
lamentation of the federal house dictatorship was surprisingly
echoed
in an editorial
by the communist
Deseret News:
"The
[federal house] speaker's
role
has evolved over the years to the point where
he or she has absolute control
over the House's agenda.
The speaker determines what issues will be discussed and voted
upon, who will have the opportunity to speak on the House
floor, and who will serve on all House committees. Contrast
this
near-dictatorial authority
with that of the Senate majority leader, who has equivalent
responsibilities in the Senate but not an equivalent level of
power."

our opinion: The speaker has near-dictatorial power in the
House,"

Scandals in states like New York have
likewise highlighted assembly speakers and senate majority
leaders empowered structurally to exercise extreme, unchallenged
dominance over the entire body.
"Under
the state's political system, the assembly speaker and the
senate majority leader, together with the governor, comprise
the so-called three men in a room
who
exercise virtually unfettered
control over the legislative and budget process
in Albany."

What local, compromised press outlets
have not appropriately exposed is that Utah suffers under the
same brand of cheap political prostitution — as seen in New
York and at the federal level. Utah is, upon closer
inspection, an example for everything gone wrong in America.

2.
Their Powers Dwarf Most Criminal Enterprises
You live in a constitutional
republic, right? Two men could not possibly exercise such control over the entire
Utah legislature, right?
Unfortunately, your civics teachers
had it all wrong. The American dream of equal
representation has already died an ignominious death, and Utah
is leading the decline toward oligarchical tyranny.
Every Legislative Committee is Stacked
As one example,
the house
speaker and senate president alone appoint and remove EVERY
member of EVERY committee.
There are more than
50 legislative committees, and EVERY ONE OF THEM
IS STACKED.
And current house speaker Brad Wilson and senate president Stuart
Adams are empowered to stack these committees without any review or
confirmation process. Let it sink in: No one becomes a member of any
legislative committee without one of their blessings.
From the rules governing the
legislature:
"The
general duties of the [House] Speaker are to:... appoint the members
of committees…" (House
Rules 1-3-102(1)(j))
"The general duties of the
[Senate] president are to:… appoint the
members of committees…" (Senate
Rules 1-3-102(1)(l))
Consider the vast implications of
this incredible power. Under normal rules, no bill may be voted on in the house or
senate without going through a committee.
Committee Chairs Also
Hand-Picked and Dominated
And committee chairs? They are
appointed, too, and are under the thumb of their Crime Boss.
See
Joint Rules 7-1-202.
Former House Crime Boss Becky Lockhart
candidly admitted her underworldly power to the press:
"I
empower [house]
committee chairs..."
[bold added]
Source: "Bill
banning enforcement of federal gun laws 'stuck in limbo',"
by Lisa Riley Roche, Deseret
News,
February 22, 2013.
Lockhart's eventual successor, current
Crime Boss Brad Wilson, likewise empowers the
chair of each house committee. He appoints and fires
them at his will alone, as does Adams for every senate
committee.
These hand-picked chairs control
each committee agenda
(see also
JR 7-1-S303 for interim committees). And that agenda
must conform to the will of the Crime Boss... or else.
"Rules Committees" Funnel
the Crime Boss' Agenda
In order to provide an illusion of
equal participation, the house and senate Crime Bosses
typically assign every legislator to at least one committee.
So, how can they possibly micro-manage the actions of every committee?
Legislative committees can only consider bills that have been
assigned to them (see
JR4-3-103). Each Crime Boss
conveniently controls a "rules committee" that assigns bills to
various committees for hearings. The rules
committee can prevent or allow a
bill from even going to a committee to be heard.
Legislative interim
committees receive their assignments from enacted bills (these
bills must get through the Crime Bosses) and from the
"legislative management committee" (see
JR7-4-104), which, again, is hand-picked by the Crime
Bosses.
Should the Crime Bosses wish a bill to be heard, they
asign it to one of their more tightly-controlled committees,
where a rubber stamp of their agenda (to either pass or kill
the bill) is all but guaranteed.
Should a bill survive the Crime Boss' committee
"hearing," it is again "prioritized" by the same "rules committee"
for any floor action. If the Crime Bosses want the
bill to pass, the "rules committee" puts it at the top of the
priority list. If the Crime Bosses want to kill the
bill, the "rules committee" keeps bumping other bills in front
of it, so that it never comes to the floor for a discussion or
vote.
As a result, bills live or
die almost entirely upon the calculated orders of the Crime
Bosses.
Two-Year Terms without Recall
Provision
Wilson's and Adams' powers
are so extreme, no specific provision exists in the house or
senate rules to them before their two-year terms
are over.
Akin to an elected despotism, these
Crime Lords dominate each body, trade politicians and political favors,
and sell out your rights; all
while pretending that decisions are made by the will of the
majority.
Money Laundering Racket
As if
effeminizing and neutralizing your representatives and
senators weren't enough, these two
Crime Bosses also exert enormous influence on how vast sums of
money are distributed in Utah political races.
Senate Crime Boss Stuart Adams is the
first officer listed for the "Utah
Republican Senate Campaign Committee"
and has also established the "Adams
Leadership PAC."
House Crime Boss Brad Wilson is the
second officer listed for the "Utah
House Republican Election Committee"
(previous House Crime Boss, and current gubernatorial candidate,
Greg Hughes has not yet withdrawn his name). Wilson also established the "Wilson Leadership PAC."
Both Crime Bosses have significant influence with other PACs and also with
the Utah Republican Party, of which they are automatically
voting members of its exclusive "Executive
Committee"
and also its "State
Central Committee."
And both Crime Bosses are enabled by a spider web-like network of corrupt
corporations and elitists desirous to advance their agendas by
"paying to play" in Utah's capitol. For a partial
who's-who list of their elite clientele, see
Adams' financial disclosure
reports,
and
Wilson's financial disclosure reports.
Before they were their own Crime Bosses, Wilson and
Stuart worked together to siphon money to their own private
enterprises.

3.
They Spit on the Public
So many examples of their arrogance
and criminality could be provided.
As a demonstration of their deviant
domination,
former House Crime Boss Greg Hughes' hand-picked rules committee held a secretive meeting
in 2015 and actively prevented the press from attending. Hughes'
obedient rules committee chairman at the time, Mike Noel, demonstrated the prevailing attitude of contempt for the rule of law and
public access.
Utah Political Capitol
reported the following:
"…Reporters were
puzzled as to where the Rules Committee would be meeting to
conduct the mandatory business prior to getting the procedural
amendments approved. When the location was eventually
determined, press
representatives from several media outlets were not allowed
access to the area where Rep. Mike Noel (Republican – Kanab)
was conducting the meeting… a clear violation of 'open
meeting' requirements in the state law.
"Lisa
Roche
of the Deseret
News told
Noel, 'Mr. Chairman, may I just make a protest here; we were
kept out in the hallway and not allowed in here… I don't know
why that was but it was really frustrating. We were kept out
in the hallway by the communications director and not allowed
in. When there's a meeting in the part of the [Capitol] that
we don't have access to, we need someone to make sure that we
can get here.' Her concerns were met with incredulous,
non-verbal responses but no apologies or explanations until
Rep Noel said, 'Well that's unfortunate, did you have some
questions about the bill?' …he agreed
to address
her concerns but not until after he had adjourned the meeting."

Even Utah's gun-control-favoring
media appeared annoyed at their first-hand taste of the abuse
gun owners have experienced for many years. These Crime
Bosses can flagrantly defy statute and any
semblance of fair play.
Sadly, the media tumult soon died
down, largely because Utah's media are largely complicit themselves,
being
largely owned by the same corporate strata that
participates in Utah's "pay to play" criminal racket.

4. They Intimidate or Reward
their Underlings
If a representative or senator
eagerly does the bidding of his/her Crime Boss, he is
rewarded. If he/she gets too out of line,
the Crime Bosses employ the street art of "seasoning,"
or intimidating him/her into compliance. Republicans or
Democrats, house or senate, male or female, they are all
dominated like expendable pawns.
Rep. Norm Thurston Cowers Under Crime Boss Glare Down
Consider the
following incident that took place on January 27, 2015,
between then-House Crime Boss Greg Hughes and "representative"
Norman Thurston:
"When
the floor vote took place on HB74, 74 House members voted for
the bill and one member registered a 'no' vote. Those votes
are displayed on an electronic board at the front of the
chamber.
"The
one 'no' vote came from Rep. Norm Thurston, R-Provo, a
freshman who took Lockhart's place in District 64.
"Glances
from around the room quickly darted in Thurston's direction.
Some colleagues mentioned to him that a 'no' vote on that
issue was ill-advised. Thurston, who already made news by
proposing a bill to allow gun toters to carry firearms on TRAX
and buses, didn't budge.
"A
funny thing then happened.
"Hughes,
who as speaker controls the board, did not close the vote. He
instead kept it open and
glared down at Thurston.
"Two
minutes went by. Three minutes. Four minutes. Hughes
did not look away.
"Finally,
Thurston blinked.
[UT Gun Rights note: This is known in prostitution lingo as "reckless
eyeballing".]
"He changed his vote to 'yes,' and
Romero's bill went to the Senate with, eventually, a unanimous
nod from the House."
[bold added]
Source: "Rolly:
New Utah House speaker wins staredown as freshman blinks on
rape bill," by Paul
Rolly, Salt
Lake Tribune,

Thurston was
publicly bullied to
change his vote by
the one male who could make or break his political career.
Without his Crime Boss' approval and blessing, Thurston
feared his political future would be in jeopardy.
Weak-willed playthings like Thurston are bitch-slapped
into "turning
tricks" for the Crime Boss' pleasure. Eventually,
they cower in effeminate fear, believing that
"resistance is futile."
Rep. Jacob Anderegg's Becomes
Crime Boss "Pusher"
This
intimidating form of indoctrination was also evident in a 2015 procedural tiff
between Democrats and Republicans surrounding Gary "Fudd"
Herbert's health care
"initiative".
Democrats wanted to bypass
Hughes' unfriendly committees, bring the bill directly to the
floor, and debate it openly.
During the emotional
back-and-forth that ensued, then-representative
Jacob Anderegg was
quoted as follows:
"'We
have a
process up
here that we follow, and that process vets and weeds out both
good and bad legislation,' said Rep. Jake Anderegg, R-Lehi.
'If this body really chooses to ignore our
processes and
bring this back, why did we hold it in committee to begin
with?' He said it wastes time with a week left in the
session."
[bold added]
Source: "Dems
force Healthy Utah vote in House, igniting fight with GOP",
by Lee Davidson, Salt
Lake Tribune,
March 6, 2015.
Notice that
Anderegg, then a
relative newcomer (elected in 2012), already
referred to house procedures as "a process" and "our
processes". He does not refer to it as "the process"
based upon rules that are fair and equitable. Anderegg
eagerly consumed the brainwashing that this Crime Boss' hand-picked committee sham was somehow legitimate.
In 2018, Escort Anderegg was "traded
up," or advanced from the house to the senate, and has become a
favored provider for his new Crime Boss' elite clientelle.
Democrat "Leader" Brian King
Scared of Retribution
Do you believe that the Democrats, or
"opposition party," are actively resisting the Crime Boss'
power agenda? Think again.
The drama evident in the procedural
tiff above also demonstrated that minority Democrats are almost
never interested in seriously confronting "the way things are done around
here." Democrat
house minority "leader"
Brian King shared this when the
above debate
ended:
"King
said, 'I don't know if there will be retribution' to
Democrats, 'but I would hope not.' He added he has had a good
working relationship with GOP leaders. 'I hope it continues,
but if it doesn't — that's the price you pay in politics on
something as important as this.'"
Source: ibid.
He "hopes" there won't be
"retribution" from his Crime Boss? He has a
"good working relationship" with his supposed opposition who
regularly quelch debate and dictate terms?
King isn't
some newly-elected scrub. He is the "leader" of the
house Democrats and a
board member of the Utah American Civil Liberties Union Utah.
Why weren't
King and his fellow Democrats ready to "pay the price" and fight
against this fraudulent process a long time ago? Are we
to believe that Gary
"Fudd" Herbert's health care initiative was the first
time something came along that was important enough to oppose
the blatant bullying?
Brian King Sells Out
to Crime Bosses on Cannabis
King's betrayals get worse. Regardless of one's view of
cannabis, King proved more recently that any House Democrat
support of cannabis legalization was a fraudulent fantasy.
In November of 2018, Citizens passed
Proposition
2 ("Utah Medical Cannabis Act"), a statewide Citizens
Initiative granting limited access to cannabis for relief of medical
ailments. On December 3, 2018, just two
days after Prop 2 was enacted, the Utah legislature held a
"special session" to effectively gut Proposition 2, which they
did by enacting
House Bill 3001, Substitute 6 (HB 3001).
HB 3001 was
crafted in complete secrecy by corporate special interests.
Under House rules, a bill is supposed to have a public
committee hearing and receive a "favorable" committee
recommendation before it can be passed on the House floor.
Being crafted in secrecy and sprung upon the public and
legislators at the last moment, HB 2001 had never had such a
hearing.
It was also supposed to remain on the house reading calendar a
day before moving to the house third reading calendar.
HB 2001 backers wanted to pass the bill by a 2/3
constitutional majority so that it could go into effect
immediately. They didn't want the public to have an
additional day to shore up opposition.
In other words, in order for HB 2001 to be heard at all, and
in order to ramrod it through quickly, the normal House rules
had to first be suspended. Guess who suspended those
rules?
That's right. House Democrat "leader" and ACLU champion
of civil liberties, Brian King, slinked to the microphone and
made the motion to suspend House Rules so that the HB 2001
could be heard.
Click here and go to 11:35 minutes to watch the shameless
patsy
sell out.
King's motion to suspend the rules required a two-thirds
majority to pass. Yet, not one voice was heard saying
"Nay" (i.e. opposing his motion). Not one Utah House
Democrat (or Republican) was willing to buck the House Crime
Boss when the rubber met the road. Not one individual had
enough commitment to vote against the shady, crooked, and perverted way business
was being conducted.
They all knew "The
Game." As Democrat "leader," King was announcing to
his colleagues that it was also the will of the Democrat
"leadership" to ramrod HB 2001 through and gut Proposition 2.
Democrate "leader"
Brian King is actually a "Pusher" for the House Crime Boss.
His job is secured by training the other representatives to
bend over and take whatever abuse they are given.
Sen. John Valentine Rewarded
with Utah Tax Commission Chairmanship
In 2013,
then-senator John Valentine,
pushed through a fraudulent "procedural reform" to expand
then-Crime Boss Wayne Niederhauser's domination of the entire statutory process.
He successfully eliminated
one of the only mechanisms that still existed for senators to act
independently. See UT Gun Rights' 2013 threat
assessment, "SR
1: Crushing Resistance in Monarch Niederhauser's Senate."
Valentine
was Niederhauser's faithful "pusher," and for his many faithful
services, he was rewarded
by being
unanimously
confirmed by Niederhauser's senate to head of the Utah Tax
Commission.

Their Racket is Gun
Control & Third World Violence
Niederhauser
also participated in the infamous
deception regarding HB 76 in 2013,
wherein officials kept their anti-gun agenda from becoming
full public knowledge. After promising gun owner
activists he would stand firm, Niederhauser voted
against
holding a veto override session for HB 76.
For more information, see the article, "HB
76: Political Theater for Suckers."
This report
highlights a nearly identical bill, SB
256: Carry "Unloaded" Firearms Concealed,
which languished in Niederhauser's senate until March 9 (the
session ended March 12), and then died in Hughes' house
without a final vote.
Compare the snail's pace of
SB 256 with the lightning passage of gun control bills
highlighted in this report.
Niederhauser has an abysmal -200%
lifetime rating. Hughes has a -117% lifetime rating.
Neither bully is a friend to gun owners.

Only You Can Stop Them
Utah's Crime Bosses possess all the
power to stop positive gun owner bills from advancing, and
to fast-track every gun control bill enacted. If you
don't like something that happened at the legislature, these
two individuals are to blame.
If Utah's Crime Bossses and their
pathetic Pushers were playing this abusive charade any where
else, they would be shunned, arrested, and imprisoned.
So how have they managed to turn Utah's capitol into a lowlife
ghetto of scum and villainy?
The answer is that too many people
tolerate their bullshit. Until more citizens
openly oppose
them, and pressure officials to resist them, your rights
will continue to be undermined.
People just like you must take concerted political action. For ideas on actions you can take,
see UT Gun Rights' article, "What You Can Do."
